Grandfather was paying too much tax you know and strangely enough Jeffrey had his own tax problems. It was mostly all about income tax. They were both avoiding paying it. Grandfather on his other house in Wales and Jeffrey on the profits of his Labrador Company. But both of them, each for their own different reasons felt very sentimental about The Labrador. It was in their blood so to speak. Something intangible just kept on drawing them back out. If not physically then mentally. Labrador had a hold on them and wouldn’t let go. They kept in close touch with each other without anybody else outside their immediate families ever finding out."
