46. with his life out here

and who could blame him? Richard could understand why he wanted to be left alone in peace and quiet. He had decided that he didn't need other people except for the basic necessities of life. Even the possibility that he had a twin brother hadn’t made any difference. He was happy with his lot.
Back in the relative safety of his own room, Richard was searching for hard evidence to hand over to the R.C.M.P. He decided to run a search on his computer, entering the name, Loga Quigley more in hope than expectation. He was delighted when her name showed up as living in Saskatchewan. He remembered a very special, life-long friend who had told him many years ago that Russian Ukrainians had emigrated to the Prairies about the time of The First World War. Maybe Loga had left the horror of Wild Bay behind her to be amongst her own kind where she had remained hidden for 60 years. He then searched for Kevin Quigley and Ranger Spiller. Again his search showed possible locations for each. He sent his results to Cpl. Dawson for the consideration of the Serious Crimes Unit suggesting that exhumation should enable forensic science to find evidence about how they had died and establish the cause of deaths once and for all.
At that very same moment, Richard would have felt less despondent about the lack of good evidence if he could have seen what was going on in Southwest England.
Mr. Eric Wrigglesworth, was the owner of two family stately homes that were gross liabilities. He knew that his Grandfather had made a serious error of judgement in 1935 in support of Jeffrey's plan to exploit the natural resources around Wild Bay. Eric was ashamed that Grandfather, even after he'd been asked to resign his post in 1935 still remained in touch with events over there.
